Ariana, I agree with your perspective about Experiential Learning. I also cited some of the resources similar to yours. I really loved the youtube link that you have used in your blog post. I totally agree in today’s materialistic world, we should always think about how to manage stress, I never gave a thought to the fact that we can learn to manage stress.
Your post was really helpful not only for the elementary kids but also for people of any age. You mentioned in your post that everyone uses experiential learning when developing new skills and learning life lessons. I believe it is very accurate, even if people do not realize that they are learning gradually, it is called experiential learning.
I enjoyed reading your post. Good job. Looking forward to seeing your project.
Kylie, I enjoyed reading about Inquiry-based learning. You put your perspective in your post very concisely. Inquiry-based learning is essential for any study area. No wonder our professors and teachers always give us enough assignments so that we learn and if we do not understand anything, we approach them and ask them questions. I also liked the section where you talked about how Inquiry-based learning does not align with your Interactive learning design. Although this approach could help some students to build good skills it’s not for everyone as everyone has different behavior. Some people do not feel shy in terms of asking questions but some do.
I like how you and your pod members are considering both pros and cons of this instructional approach.
Good job on your blog post 2 and good luck for your learning objective.
